Choc Create
Your Chocolate Your Way
This chocolate tastes delicious and it’s fun and easy to create custom chocolate bars.
First, you choose the base – dark chocolate, white chocolate or milk chocolate. And then you get to choose what else you would like in your chocolate. They have things that you would expect and lots of unique choices.
I chose dark chocolate for each of my bars and different types of ingredients for each of the bars.
The fruit bar I created is tasty and looks pretty. I think the kiwi are especially fun.
•Dried Kiwi
•Craisins
•Dried Apricots
•Sour Tart Cherries
•Yogurt Chips
The bacon bar might be my favorite. Yes, bacon and chocolate are quite tasty together. And I think the salt is a nice addition.
•Real Bacon Bits
•Coarse Sea Salt
•Raw Walnuts
My “coffee drink” blend is made up of things that I like in my coffee. The flavors all work well together and the candied mint leaves look pretty.
•Bourbon Vanilla
•Raw Hazelnuts
•Ground Espresso
•Cocoa Nibs
•Candied Mint Leaves
You may like my choices or you may like something totally different. They have best sellers and special selections available for purchase, but I really like the idea of creating something special and one of a kind!

CHOCOLATE CREATOR
http://blogchocolate.com/2011/01/29/im-a-chocolate-creator/
Ages ago, Bianca from ChocCreate contacted me with an offer to customize my own chocolate bar. My first reaction was that ChocCreate was another one of those clever chocolatiers who mold chocolate into fanciful shapes and market to brides-to-be and creative marketers. Usually those kinds of chocolates look fun but taste waxy and I am not a fan.
But ChocCreate is different. Their concept is to allow their customers to actually chose the ingredients of their chocolate bar and make a one-of-a-kind creation. They sent me a $25 gift certificate to concoct whatever chocolate I could dream up.
And my heart started beating faster. Because I was so smitten with the concept, I ended up making four chocolate bars and spending extra. And I had a blast.
You can make your bar with dark, milk or white chocolate and they purport to use only the finest German chocolate as their base. There are over 101 ingredients you can combine including every fruit and nut you can fathom plus a variety of cutesy decorations to add. But then there is the outrageous – 23karat gold power, mimosa flowers (which, by the way, were delish), cheddar gold fish and tortilla chips!
This is what I made …
#1 “All My Favs in One Place” = Dark chocolate with candied almonds, red Hawaiian sea salt, sour tart cherries and topped with a pair of candy lips. Mwah.
#2 “Back To Nature” = Dark chocolate with blueberries, kiwi, mimosa flowers, raw pistachios, whole flax seeds, cinnamon and a candy palm tree.
#3 “Roll of the Dice” = Milk chocolate with candied mint leaves, granulated honey, nutmeg, raspberries, teddy grahams, walnuts and topped with some dice-shaped candy.
#4 “Just Because I Can” = Milk chocolate with candied rose flowers, cheddar gold fish, gummi bears, pumpkin seeds & tortilla chips (I *know*. I am an 11-year-old boy).
They were all fun and I wasn’t disappointed when I received them. I have never enjoyed a chocolate review more. Because it was MY chocolate!
I preferred the quality of the dark chocolate over the milk and my favourite bar (hands down) was creation #1 – but that’s not surprising because I really did just put all my favourite chocolate pairings in one bar. Perfection.
While I won’t quit my day job and become a chocolatier anytime soon, they were all a hit except #4. Which, well, was not to be expected. How could I have not been curious to see such bizarre ingredients with chocolate? And it tasted as strange as it sounded. Especially the bites that included cheddar gold fish. Whoa. But that was my fault -not ChocCreate. However, I would caution, no matter how adventurous you are feeling, to skip the gummi bears as they are super stale. All the other ingredients, however, were of absolutely fabulous quality.
Each of my Sandra-ized chocolate bars cost between $7.95 and $11.40. Not bad for individualized, interesting chocolates that you get to control.
I have to admit, I am hooked. Ever since placing my first order I have been day-dreaming about other chocolatey combinations to try. I have a feeling that ChocCreate.com will live in my internet browser’s “favourites” for a long time to come!

Choccreate let me choose 2 candy bars to try out! I let Paul pick out a chocolate bar that he'd like. He wanted to be somewhat healthy so he chose the dark chocolate with dried banana chips, granola, raw hazel nuts, and granulated honey. This candy bar was good. It was a crunchy chocolate bar with all the toppings that Paul picked. It was hard to taste the toppings because the dark chocolate seemed to over power the toppings. The dark chocolate was tasty. If you like a crunchy chocolate bar, then this would be a good candy bar for you.
I picked out the next candy bar that was made with milk chocolate, mini marshmallows, shredded coconut, and raw macadamia nuts. This was our ultimate favorite candy bar of the two candy bars we were able to sample! I have always been a fan of macadamia nuts and chocolate so this chocolate bar did not disappoint! It was everything I thought it would be and more! The marshmallows were soft on top of the chocolate adding a yummy taste. I would definitely purchase this chocolate bar again!

LIFE MOMENTS
http://www.lifewiththeds.com/2011/02/choccreate-review.html
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
I recently had the opportunity to review Choccreate chocolates!
I was able to review two chocolate bars!
The first one was milk chocolate, dried strawberries and bananas.
This was amazing! The milk chocolate was so good and the bananas and strawberries were so good!
I was so impressed with the fruit that was in the chocolate bar. I have had dried fruit in chocolate before and it wasn't very good. This almost tasted like fresh fruit!
The second was milk chocolate, mini marshmallows, m &m's and gummi bears!
This chocolate bar was also very good! This was a fun chocolate bar to eat! My favorite part of it was the gummi bears! They taste so good in chocolate!
I was very impressed by the quality of this chocolate! It wasn't like other kinds of milk chocolate it had such a better taste to it. Maybe because it hasn't sat on the shelves of stores for month, and it was made when I put my order in!
Choccreate has so many different flavors you can put on the chocolate bar. They also have three different kinds of chocolate to start your chocolate bar with. Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate (I'm not a fan of White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate gives me migraines!)
To top your chocolate bars they have fruits, nuts, cereal, cheeze-its (yeah, cheeze-its!), decorations, and herbs and spices! There are a TON to choose from! It took me almost a day to pick what I wanted on two chocolate bars!
Not only are they good and have a ton of different things to choose from, but they are very reasonably priced!
I give these a 5 out of 5!!
Head on over and check them out!!
THANK YOU CHOCCREATE!!

MOMMA TOLD ME REVIEW
http://mommasaiddayslikethese.blogspot.com/2011/01/36-choccreate-review-and-25-giveaway.html
It's time to redefine Valentine's chocolates, and scrap the tacky foil and lace red heart box, for a much more chic and personal one. If you've ever wondered how cool it would be to create your own candy bars, look no further than Choccreate!
Momma Told Me: The best candy bar is subjective.
What is your all time, favorite candy bar? Does it have coconut in it? Or perhaps nuts, caramel, or nougat? Shopping for Valentine's chocolates for your sweetie can be a little challenging, and unfortunately, I'm not about to make that any easier. It's bad enough there are 3 main types of chocolates, but then when you add cocoa percentages, and filling or toppings, my sweet tooth aches from conceptual overload. It's for this exact reason people either hate, or love the traditional Valentine's gift of a box of chocolates (hold onto the box notion for a moment). For me, it's always been a bit hairy, having to weed out all of the 'pesky' impostors for good chocolate. My grandparents would always give me the $.88 mini boxes, which tasted just awful, full of aromatic cremes. My father, he'd get me a bod twice the size of my head, and I become so overwhelmed I'd inevitably start chucking random chocolates in my face!
In 2007, after her mother passed away, Choccreate's creator sought to spread the joy and warmth her mother had given each year during the holidays. With custom candy bars topped with nuts, fruit, and decorations to match the season, her Momma would bring smiles to everyone through a love of chocolate. Taking the emotion and spark of individually designed chocolates, the company set out to provide a unique customer experience superior to any other.
Featuring the finest of German milk, white, and dark chocolate as a base, Choccreate offers a unique line of their own zany creations, as well as a custom ordering system. Buyers can select from healthy pre-designed bars, or Zora's personal foodie favorites, for fast processing and easy shopping. Surprisingly, the pricing on these custom treats is actually much lower than comparable services. Instead of charging by weight, or using a complex price level chart, Choccreate shows the price to add each topping before you ever even click. I don't have to browse 'ingredient tiers', or do fancy math, the cart updates immediately, and the price is always visible before adding! This just may be my favorite feature!
To customize a bar, or two, or three, for your sweetie, simply begin by choosing one of the 3 main premium bar bases. Each 3.5 oz bar starts at just $3.95. Then, choose from a variety of topping across several categories; Fruit, Nuts & Cereal, Gourmet, Decorations, Herbs & Spices, and Extras & More. Under 'fruit' you'll find a rainbow of premium dried fruits such as kiwi, banana chips, and papaya. Nuts & Cereal featured 18 varieties of seeds/nuts, and a handful of cereal based ingredients. The gourmet category is slightly more eccentric, with the option to add 24kt Gold Powder for $3.50, or Candied Rose Petals for $1.95. Extras & More is an interesting collection of salty and sweet treats, Decorations covers an array of sugar charms for holidays and themes, and you'll find everything from crushed spearmint to curry powder under Herbs & Spices.
Individual topping additions start as low as $0.35, and are distributed evenly across the bar during it's setting period. When I later returned to create my bars for review, I noticed there was no way to 'double up' on a topping. I found myself wishing I could pay for extra of a topping, but there was no option. Perhaps this is a feature they will implement in the future, or a simple note at checkout would suffice? I also couldn't find an indication of maximum ingredients, but surely one 3.5 chocolate bar couldn't hold everything on the menu, so I wouldn't go with more than 5 to start. If you're feeling especially daring, you can order a mystery bar for $5, and if you're unsure of your sweetie's likes, there's also the certificate option.
In the end, with shipping, it often averages near $25 for 3-4 bars, depending on topping, which isn't bad for 10.5-14 ounces of custom, gourmet chocolate! After I ordered, I was impressed to receive a complete receipt, followed by a processing and shipping notice, as the order was completed. My Choccreate package arrived and I truly had no idea what to expect. What I found, pleasantly surprised me. Nestled in a high quality, gift worthy box, with top-view window were my candy bars. The brown and pink presentation box was tied off with an attached ribbon for a highly professional appearance that made me feel as though I was truly special, and enhanced the custom experience.
After I'd sufficiently admired the packaging, I opened it up to find my bars nestled amongst a thick layer of shredded packing, which had kept my bars in one piece during the journey. Each Choccreate bar was individually wrapped (in 2 layer like sleeves great for snacking), with an ingredients label on the back. How wonderful is it to know you picked out each and every ingredient in your bar! I immediately noticed the toppings were evenly distributed, and even arranged artistically. We had made one of each type of chocolate bar, and I eyed my milk chocolate, candied sunflower seed, Cheez-It creation with glee. I couldn't wait to dive in, and boy was it satisfying. While cheesy crackers likely sound odd as a topping for chocolate, it added a delightful flaky texture and hint of salt I thoroughly enjoyed in contrast to the crunch of the sunflower kernels!
Not only was the presentation perfect, but the quality of the chocolate was amazing, with it's melt-in-your-mouth qualities. We couldn't scarf our creations down fast enough. I could tell the white chocolate was premium because it didn't flake like sugary imitations do, and the dried strawberries were full of flavor. I don't think we had a single complain about the toppings we chose, and I'd gladly pay to have them again! something I'd like to see in the future? Customizable labels!

SMILE A DAY GIVEAWAY & REVIEWS BLOG
http://smileadaygiveaways.blogspot.com/2011/01/choccreate-review-giveaway.html
I came across the best site ever!
Combine your favorite ingredients with the chocolate you love to Choccreate your own delicious masterpiece!
Seriously if you don't give them a try you are missing out!
We were able to make two of our own creations, here is what we came up with....
I love white chocolate, and pistachios so it was the perfect combination for me..and I added cranberries to give it a sweet twist.. Wow.. so good!!! The chocolate simply melts in your mouth and the flavor of the added ingredients added a fabulous twist on a chocolate bar unlike one you can just pick up at the store!
The kids chose something a little more to their liking....smooth milk chocolate...and a very colorful selection, perfect for the kid in all of us, yet still some delicious ingredients! The sunflower Sunbeams were a very unusual and fun ingredient, and of course M&Ms were delicious! A big pair of lips left the kids giggling and added that extra touch to the final chocolate bar. The gummy bears looked a little silly and were a bit tough for the kids to eat, but were still a fun selection. Not sure I would add them again only because of the way they toughen up.
The mold they are made with leaves lines and gives it that usual chocolate bar look, but when cut into pieces they don't hold together so well cutting through the ingredients to share. LOL..but what does that matter, right.. it all tastes the same! You want a piece..don't you!
The taste was suburb and the selection of ingredients to choose from are amazing. Nuts & cereals, herbs & spices, fruit, gourmet and edible decorations! Some things I would have never imagined adding them to a chocolate bar, definitely looking forward to trying more!
A little about how they got started:
Created in memory of her mother the owner tells us that every Christmas Eve, and sometimes around Easter, her mother would melt & temper her own chocolate. She always added her own favorite ingredients and then would decorate the bars sometimes to match the current season. Her mother passed away in July 2007, she missed the chocolates that she always made, their personal touch and her creative imagination.
She now makes chocolates to recreate those memories like her mother used to for family & friends and started the company to share her love with others of the individually personalized chocolates an uniqueness of it all.
German milk, white, and dark chocolate as a base and choose your own creations & custom ordering where you can select pre-designed bars, or choose one of Zora's favorites!
What a better holiday then Valentine's Day to indulge your sweet tooth and spoil you or the ones you love with some delicious chocolate! Take a look at their site and order some sweet treats for the big day!

Heck of a Bunch REVIEW
http://heckofabunch.blogspot.com/2011/01/choccreate-chocolate-review-and.html
There's two different kinds of chocolate. The first is yeah-it-tastes-okay-and-fulfills-the-craving chocolate. The second is ooh-ooh-oh-my-I-don't-want-to-share-it-tastes-so-good chocolate. The chocolate from ChocCreate is the latter.
ChocCreate is an online company that gives you, the consumer, the option to decide what you want in your candy bar. The list of ingredients within five different categories lets you indulge in chocolate in a whole new way.
To create a custom candy bar, the first step is to choose from dark, white, or milk chocolate. From there, you choose the ingredients you'd like added to make a creation all your own.
I chose two different candy bars to create. The process in itself is simple and the list of ingredients to choose from is ample. I found it helpful that each ingredient has the price listed so you know exactly how much you are spending on each candy bar and its additions.
The first candy bar I customized and received was a 3.5 oz milk chocolate bar with marshmallows, teddy grahams, and gummi bears. The second was a 3.5 oz dark chocolate bar with corn flakes, sunflower seeds, and pecan nuts.
Seriously, the candy bars with no additions are divine. The gourmet German chocolate that they are created from is heavenly. The dark chocolate bar has a rich flavor and I was able to savor it for days. Just taking a couple bites at a time was satisfying. With the dark chocolate bar, the different flavors together gave a nice, crunchy texture. With the milk chocolate bar, the crunchiness of the Teddy Grahams and the fluff of the marshmallows gave a delightful blend of taste. The gummi bears tasted good in the bar as well, but they were a little chewy.
When purchasing individual ingredients for your candy bar, there isn't a clear specification on how much of each specific item will be added. However, it seems that a pattern is played out when the candy bar arrives. ChocCreate delved deep into my taste buds and gave me sweet treats to savor and remember.

REAL HEART PRINTS BLOG & REVIEW CHOCCREATE.COM
http://www.realheartprints.com/2011/01/perfect-for-valentines-daychoccreate-giveaway-discount/
Perfect for Valentine’s Day/Choccreate Giveaway & Discount
Chocolate….what more can I say? Chocolate and I have had an understanding for quite some time. I love chocolate; it’s my one weakness when it comes to food. Lately, I’ve been trying to very much limit myself as to how much I eat, so I got my family involved in this review; that way we could share the chocolate and enjoy it over time.
Choccreate Chocolates is a place where you can basically design your own chocolate bars. It’s fun to do, but it’s also perfect for gifts. What do you decorate the chocolate with? Try fruit, nuts & cereals, gourmet items, themed candies, sprinkles, herbs & spices, etc. Choccreate was brought about through childhood memories, rich in a mother’s legacy of preparing chocolates for her children every holiday season. I was excited to create some chocolate of my own, one bar for each person in my family. It was super easy and honestly, kinda fun!
First of all, I had to choose between milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate. Then I was able to choose different toppings. The toppings are priced differently, so I mixed and matched. Some of the fruits available include bananas, raisins, figs, blackberries, etc. Nuts & cereals include granola, corn flakes, pumpkin seeds, pecan nuts, etc. Gourmet includes things like 23karat gold powder, candied violet flowers, mimosa flowers, etc. Extra ingredients include Cheddar Gold Fish, gummi bears, M&Ms, mini pretzels, brown sugar, etc. Themed decorations include mini hearts, blue/pink feet, red white & blue stars, etc. Herbs & spices include chili powder, cinnamon, granulated honey, etc. Some of the ingredients sounded wonderful, and others seemed questionable, but to each his own, I guess.:)
Here’s a peek at what I created. The kids were so excited, they tore into them before I could even get pics. Don’t worry, I didn’t let them eat them all in one sitting; they’re still working on them, a little bit at a time. First of all, the box they all came in was beautiful, all wrapped up with a bow. The box is definitely reusable; I’ll probably use it to store scrapbook items or crafting supplies. For my husband, Dan, I made a milk chocolate bar with mini pretzels. One of his favorite snacks is chocolate covered pretzels, so this was perfect for him.For my son Jacob, I made a white chocolate bar with mini hearts. He loves white chocolate, and the mini hearts were perfect for Valentine’s Day.For Jaden I made a Smores candy bar with milk chocolate, mini marshmallows and Teddy Grahams. He loves it, and it did turn out so cute! Finally, for myself I made a milk chocolate bar with raisins; one of my favorite snacks when we go to the movies is chocolate covered raisins. Yum!I tried a couple bites, just so I could give my honest opinion (likely excuse, huh?). Each bar is very yummy; I have to say the Smores bar is my favorite so far. The chocolate is not quite as creamy as I would like, but it is very good. The toppings really add to the whole flavor and feel of the bars. It’s a unique gift, perfect for Valentine’s Day or even Easter, both of which are coming up soon. Prices are definitely affordable. My most expensive chocolate bar was $5.15. These would make great “just because” gifts, as well….hint to all the husbands out there. In fact, you can use a special discount for 20% off with the coupon code: heartprints, valid through 2/28/11.

My Milwaukee Mommy Blog REVIEW
http://www.mymilwaukeemommy.com/2011/01/choccreatecom-candy-bar-review.html
Choccreate.com "Candy Bar" Review
Visit Choccreate.com for some yummy and fun chocolate bars! These are a great gift or a fun dessert for a get together-maybe you just want to treat yourself!
So we tried 5 chocolate bars. A couple of them are from the best sellers or Zora's Selections and a couple from just making it ourselves.
MILK CHOCOLATE with Pretzels, Cheez-its (3.5oz)
Zora's Chocolate Crunch (3.5oz)
Bavarian Chocolate (3.5oz)
Candied Almonds and White Chocolate
Choc Mex (3.5oz)
My husband really liked the candies almonds and white chocolate-that is one we "created" ourselves. What you do is pick the chocolate you want then you can add any ingredients that are listed-there are nuts, dried fruits, spices, cereals, gourmet-flowers!, decorations and herbs. I really wish I would have ordered one with flowers-I forgot when I was done ordering-oh well. I guess I will have to place another order at some point! :)
Ann's kiddos like cheese crackers and pretzels so she when with one of those bars-they loved it! Pretzels and chocolate are great together and surprisingly the cheese crackers really go with chocolate too!
I really liked the Choc Mex-it has tortilla chips and crushed red pepper! It was really good! I like how the chocolate and salty chips soothed the spice.
All of the chocolate bars were really good. I would suggest a combination of creating something you know you are going to like and trying something new-after all variety is the spice of life!
You can tell that the ingredients are fresh-there is a crunch to the crunchy ingredients and the chocolate is nice and smooth. I also enjoyed that the bars are ready for sharing-they are "perforated" so they can be broken into pieces.
The chocolate bars are also very affordable-depending on what you choose most bars are under $6.00 which for a gourmet chocolate bar really is not a bad price. They also come packaged very nicely and padded-non of our bars were broken when they arrived!

HALF-PINT HOUSE Seminary Style REVIEW
http://stlouisseminarystyle.blogspot.com/2010/12/create-your-own-chocolate-bars.html
Create Your Own Chocolate Bars!
Early last month I received a gift certificate to Choccreate.com, which is a "make your own chocolate bar" website. The premise, as you have probably guessed already, is that they produce individually customized chocolate bars that YOU put together yourself. They do it with "love and care" and use the finest German Chocolate available. They have a passion for creating custom chocolate bars designed by you!
They also have a passion for aesthetic packaging because look what came in the mail after I placed my order:
They had me at the pink and brown stripes. Seriously - this is a gift box you would be super proud to present to anyone (anyone who appreciate the value of good chocolate in super cool packaging, that is).
The chocolate bars themselves:
You might be able to tell by the photo, but I got to put together four different combos for my stash. We've sampled both of the bottom bars so far (the one with bananas/peanuts and the one with M&Ms/marshmallows/rice krispies) and Y.U.M. These chocolate bars are good!
The website has several interesting options for you including choosing from their best sellers, creating your own, using the healthy choices selections, or letting Zora pick for you! (Don't tell Zora, but the Choc Mex pick just doesn't do it for me...but that's just me - might be perfect for you!)
And did I mention the awesome packaging? I'm thinking perfect Valentine's Day gift for someone you know!

COCOA HEAVEN REVIEW - Feed Your Chocolate Obsession
http://cocoa-heaven.com/choccreate-custom-chocolates/
Since doing our giveaway I have cashed in my $25 gift certificate to not only see what a winning entry would taste like, but used the remaining funds to have a little fun of my own with a custom chocolate combination from Choccreate Custom Chocolates.
The order came really fast once I placed it and although I got tripped up a bit in the gift certificate redeeming system, customer service came through in a flash. Everything came in a neat pink and brown striped box with a fun pink ribbon tied up all around it. I’ll definitely be reusing this box as a gift box in the future!
So what did I create?
First up: Figgy Pudding (the winning entry from the Choccreate Chocolate Christmas Contest)
Ingredients:
White chocolate, dried figs, cinnamon, nutmeg, pecan nuts, walnuts
Taste:
I am loving the whole pecans on this bar by the way. No dust or bits here! The base white chocolate is quite creamy and a solid start to house the winning combination of pecans, cinnamon and nutmeg, which is what I get on the first bite. The second bite brings out the dried figs and walnuts and I have to say I really not only like this combination, but the entire package. The spices come through but don’t overpower, the nuts and figs compliment the white chocolate and I am ready to go for another bite, the only downside being trying to get the fig bits unstuck from my molars.
Next: Dark chocolate, almond slivers, dried raspberries, granulated honey
Taste:
The base dark chocolate is a decent base, bitter, not too bitter/dark, creamy and it smells like dark chocolate should-strong but not sickly sweet. The dried raspberry reminds me a lot of raspberry Fig Newtons because of the texture, not because of what was stuck in my teeth. It’s a good solid raspberry flavor that is spread out throughout the bar in little pockets of fruity goodness. The granulated honey is unfortunately lost in all this. I tried just licking or separating it out to see if I could taste it, I just couldn’t. If I were to do this again, I’d pair the honey with a lighter chocolate like milk or white. The almonds didn’t have a whole lot of taste either, but they did lend a great texture both visually and orally.
Next: Milk Chocolate, candied rose petals, cinnamon, pecan nuts, sour tart cherries
Taste:
I will admit I added candied to rose petals to this creation purely out of curiousity. Wouldn’t you? And yes, I bit a piece out by itself first. You know what’s tasty? Sugared rose petals. The cinnamon on this bar is very “present” as in I smell it and can see it quite well. I get a good bite with the cherry, rose petal and cinnamon right away. The pecan are those gorgeous whole pecans, so I’ll have to do some finagling on the next one to get a bit of everything. The cherries are terrific, plump (as plump as dried can get), sour and sweet. I could eat these by the handful alone, add in a bit of pecan and it’s really special. The base milk chocolate is smooth and creamy and pairs well with this combination as it’s very subtle and doesn’t ride over the featured ingredients. If I had to do this again, I would leave out the cinnamon, as I feel it’s overpowering what I really want at this point.
What did I learn from “creating” my own chocolates? Less is more. The reason chocolate makers stick to one flavor isn’t just related to cost (sometimes they are cheap, let’s face it) but too much can pull you in too many directions when enjoying a chocolate candy. However- “creating” my own chocolate was a blast. I did overall liked what the creations ended up being and if I did it again, I have a lot better idea of what actually goes than what I thought would!
Thanks to Choccreate for the chance!

REVIEW from SPRINGFIELD MOMMY BLOGGER - Paying it forward
http://www.myspringfieldmommy.com/2011/01/build-you-own-chocolate-with-choccreate.html
Build Your Own Chocolate With Choccreate
Imagine if you could add just about anything imaginable to chocolate...
Sounds too good to be true right? Well Choccreate has designed a company that does just this. It all starts with your selection of either Milk, Dark or White Chocolate. From there you then select the fruit, nuts, spices, herbs, cereals, candies, crackers and everything and I mean everything in between.
I ordered a few candy bars just before Christmas, and let me tell you they did not last long. The most popular of the bars I ordered was dark chocolate with pineapple and white chocolate with kiwi and almond slivers. I held back my personal favorite of white chocolate with coconut.
The ordering process is simple and quick allowing you to go between the screens to select the best topping for bar. However, if building the perfect bar is not for you there are many bars that are part of their daily collection.
One thing I did not expect to see was a expiration date on the bars I made. I have to laugh because the bars are tagged good through March 2011, but how anyone expects them to last that long is beyond me.
You may want to consider Choccreate for Valentine's Day, I can not image anyone not loving to make their own chocolate. The best part is your order is already preboxed and ready to be opened when it arrives. so that means no wrapping for you guys who may be reading this!

THE CARTOON LOVIN' MOMMA - Real Reviews for Tots & Moms

Choccreate Chocolates Review
Hi my name is Stephanie and I’m a Chocoholic! Yes, it’s true, I’m totally addicted to chocolate, and one of my goals in life is to find the absolute best chocolate bars! Well I was recently introduced on an amazing company called Choccreate Chocolates that no only offers some unique chocolate bars but also allows you to create you own custom dream chocolate bars, with your choice of chocolate and ingredients, how great is that??? When I was given the opportunity to review a couple of my own custom created chocolate bars I was literally in chocolate heaven!!!
Our Thoughts:
We were given a $25 gift certificate to create our own custom chocolate bars and it was enough for us to create 3 chocolate bars, so we decided to each create one bar apiece! Our chocolate bars arrived super quickly and in wonderful condition! They were packaged very securely and were presented very nicely and I’m still using the cute little box that they came in as a decorative candy box on our end table!
For my custom chocolate bar I decided to make a white chocolate bar with pecans, cashews, sunflower seeds and almond slivers! I do have to admit that making my bar I did have a hard time trying to decide what goodies I wanted to include in my bar, since Choccreate has so many options that would have been delicious in white chocolate! Once my bar arrived I immediately decided to try it and of course I shared with “Bug” and Chad and I have to say that I loved it, it was the perfect combination of sweet and salty! “Bug” really enjoyed it as well and I think Chad was jealous that he didn’t make a white chocolate bar :0)! I will defiantly be ordering more of these delicious white chocolate and nut bars in the future!
“Bug” also created his own chocolate bar and for his he decided to do the milk chocolate bar with mini pretzels and mini marshmallows! I initially thought that it was kind of a weird combination but once it arrived and “Bug” opened it I just had to try it! I was quite surprised at the amazing combination of flavors that the milk chocolate, pretzels and marshmallows made when mixed together! Now, “Bug” loved this chocolate bar and ended up eating most of it all by himself over the course of a couple of days and he is still asking for more so I have a feeling we are going to have to keep “Bug’s” chocolate creation on hand for quite some time.
Chad was the last one to create his chocolate bar and he decided to make his a milk chocolate bar with coconut and pecans! This bar was really great as well, much to my surprise and I think a little to Chad’s surprise as well! There was just something about the sweet coconut and the crunch of the pecans that really made this chocolate bar unique and yummy!
The whole process of choosing the chocolate and extras was a super easy process and I love that each of the extras tells you how much it will add to the cost of the chocolate bar! I am very pleased with the prices as well….I would much rather spend a few more cents for a custom bar made just for me vs. going to the grocery store for a candy bar and spend just as much or almost as much for just plain old chocolate…..wouldn’t you??? Now, if you don’t want to take the time, or if you don’t have the creativeness to make your own chocolate combination you can always choose from some of the most popular combos!!!
Bottom Line:
We all absolutely loved the whole process of getting to create our own chocolate bars with our own unique twist! And to be quite honest I was very happily surprised at how quickly our custom chocolate bars arrived and how great they were packaged! All three of the chocolate bars was so delicious and we are all contemplating on what our next Choccreate Chocolate creations will be!
If you love chocolate as much as I do I highly recommend visiting Choccreate Chocolate and creating your own customized chocolate bars! Trust me you will become addicted to Choccreate Chocolate bars, I know we did :0)!!!!

MILK OR SUGAR - Everything Customized - REVIEW
http://www.milkorsugar.com/fooddrink/chocolate/shoccreate
Choccreate.com
Fabulous choices for a very special chocolate. Are you ready?
And surely you feel ready, but wait till you see the choices offered here. You can make your own chocolate bar, adding from the classic macadamia nuts to granulated honey and candied violet flowers. You can even add gold powder (!). Not sure about the white chocolate with mustard and mini pretzels, though.
Prices are very reasonable and the site quite easy to use.
Nevertheless, it could be a bit more modern- but it’s all about taste, isn’t it?

ONE 2 TRY - MOMMY BLOG - REVIEW

I never met a chocolate I did not like (so far anyway). I dream about chocolate and the flavors I would love to see in a chocolate. With the help of Choccreate, I was able to bring those flavor dreams to life.
Choccreate lets you make Your Chocolate Your Way. Starting with your favorite chocolate - milk, white or dark, you then select from a nice variety of ingredients to create your special flavor combination. The combinations are only limited to your imagination.
A few of the best seller combinations are:
Dark Chocolate with Oats, Cranberries and Walnuts
Milk Chocolate with Rice Crispies, m&m's and Marshmallows
Milk Chocolate with pretzels and cheez-its
Milk Chocolate with blueberries. craisins and pecans
Try Zora's favorite of Zora's Banana Split Chocolate: Spectacular Gourmet German White Chocolate merged with Cocoa Nibs, chopped dried strawberries, Blanched CA Almond Slivers, all mixed in and topped with Dried light crisp Banana Chips. YUM!
To really experience Choccreate for this review, I had the guilty pleasure of creating 3 scrumptious bars. First I am impressed with the lovely packaging my bars came in. Each bar was individually wrapped and placed in a see through pink and brown box tied with a fancy pink ribbon. A very nice touch for multiple bar orders. I had a lot of fun mixing flavors for my ideal taste sensation. My first bar - Dark Chocolate with dried figs, rice crispies and walnuts. The dark chocolate is pretty sweet in taste with blended nicely with the savory flavors I chose. I love the big generous size walnuts. I am very fond of white chocolate so I created one with corn flakes, craisins and mini marshmallows. This is really good. the creaminess of the white chocolate with the tartness of the craisins is a burst of taste. The cornflakes added a crunch and the mini marshmallows added an extra chew. I would make this bar again! My last bar is a bit of a flavor experiment. Milk chocolate with dried apricots, chili powder and real bacon bits. I was going for the sweet, salty and spicy tastes. You know what? It works! This is my favorite of all the bars!
Order directly online from Choccreate. With ingredients of fruits, nut and cereals, gourmet, extras and more, decorations, plus herbs and spices, if you can think it you can create it. Choccreate - Your Chocolate Your Way!

THE B KEEPS US HONEST - MUMMY BLOG REVIEW
http://stlouisseminarystyle.blogspot.com/2010/12/create-your-own-chocolate-bars.html

I love just about anything made out of chocolate. I’m always eyeing the candy aisles at Target or Wal-mart to see if I want to try some new chocolate product, or if I want to bring home an old favorite. So of course I jumped at the chance to review choccreate.com, a website where the customer can design his or own chocolate bar, right down to the ingredients and the type of chocolate.
I was overwhelmed with the possibilities when I got started with my complimentary $25.00 gift card. I was able to choose between the following types of chocolate: dark, milk, or white. I’ve never been a fan of dark chocolate, so I created only chocolate bars made from milk and white. Some of the custom ingredients I could add to the mix were really surprising to me–I never would have considered adding something like chili powder or crushed red pepper to chocolate.
When designing my custom bars, I took the totally safe route. With $5.95 reserved to cover the shipping costs, I had $19.05 left to cover the cost of any bars that I designed. In total, I created 4 chocolate bars. 3 of them were made from milk chocolate, and 1 was made from white chocolate. The milk chocolate bars that I created contained M&Ms, almonds, and shredded coconut. I got a little adventurous with the white chocolate bar, and added brown sugar to it.
Each 3.5 oz. chocolate bar is $3.75 plain, and the price goes up when you start adding in the ingredients. The ingredients begin at $0.65 each, and can go up to about $3.50 each. You can even combine more than one ingredient in your chocolate bar.
If I could do it all over again, I think I would get a bit more creative and try something totally new. I definitely played it safe, but I loved every bite of this chocolate. I was crazy for the white chocolate with the brown sugar, and while I liked the milk chocolate that choccreate.com uses, I wasn’t as in love with it as I had thought I’d be.
The chocolate bars arrived in a beautiful brown and pink box, and would have been a lovely gift for someone if I hadn’t decided I wanted this chocolate all to myself.

NEW AGE MAMA BLOG - REVIEW & GIVEAWAY
http://newagemama.blogspot.com/2010/12/holiday-gift-guide-choccreate-review.html
It never occurred to me that I could order a customized chocolate bar, made exactly the way I wanted it. That I could add fruits, nuts, include pretty designs, or even herbs and spices. But that is exactly what Choccreate offers. They have created a website where you can custom order your chocolate bars, and they are made with only the finest ingredients including delicious dark, milk or white chocolate.
For my review, I was given a $25 gift certificate which was enough to create three custom bars. You get to pick through all the different kinds of ingredients and can choose as many as you want. The system is very user friendly and you won't have to be an internet wiz to figure it out. . You can see the final results of my bars in the picture on the right. They looked almost too good to eat. But we did anyway, and OMG!!! Even my husband, who is a chef that doesn't give compliments easily on anything edible said it was the best chocolate bar he ever tasted. It even comes in a beautiful package.
With hand made customized candy like you can find at Chococreate, you'll never want to eat any other kind of chocolate again. READERS! Cocoa Heaven has an exciting new contest!
Choccreate is a website that allows you to customize your own chocolate bar. You can start with either dark, white, or milk chocolate and choose from 92 ingredients to add to it. The possibilities are endless. You could go the more conservative route (dark chocolate with cashew nuts and roasted peanuts) or get a little crazy (milk chocolate with gold powder, bacon bits, gummy bears, and chili powder). I’m not quite sure if that last one sounds appetizing, but you get the point.
Here’s where the contest comes in: Choccreate has generously donated a $25 gift certificate to Cocoa Heaven and we’re giving it away as a prize in a Christmas-themed contest! Whomever comes up with the best customized (yet compellingly edible) chocolate bar will win. Here are the rules for the Chocoholic Choccreate Christmas Contest:
THE RULES & FINE PRINT
